This original painting, Bedouin Rider with Racing Camel, came from the period when Susan Crawford lived in Oman during the 1990's. The subject features a Bedouin boy seen by the artist before a camel race. This gentle picture depicts the peace and quiet of a young boy resting in the shade provided by his camel before the pair of them were to participate in the passion of camel racing.
The thoughts of both rider and camel can only be imagined by the viewer . The artist has captured the colours and the heat and the sense of quiet anticipation quite brilliantly.
Each print is hand signed by the artist and hand numbered.
