Peter Curling chose to paint this unique image in order to commemorate the career of Britain's most accomplished and best-loved sports broadcaster, Sir Peter O'Sullevan, whose career drew to an end on Saturday 29 November 1997. This pictorial tribute depicts Sir Peter O'Sullevan surrounded by friends and by many important and famous members of the horse racing fraternity, including Lester Piggott and HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. The Thoroughbred Rehabilitation and Retirement Centre in Essex, England, will benefit from every sale of this limited edition.






Each print is hand signed by the artist and hand numbered.

About the Artist

Peter Curling

Born in Waterford in Ireland in 1955, Peter Curling spent his early years in County Clare before moving to England with his family in 1963. In England he won an art scholarship to Millfield, where his work was seen by Aylmer Tryon, founder of the Tryon Gallery.
