This beautiful Goutelettes Limited edition of Spencer Hodge is entitled Orangutan. The artist comments: “I wanted this drawing to be free-flowing and expressive of the rhythms of the natural world. The orang-utan seems a fitting subject and certainly a poignant one. The destruction of its habitat and illegal hunting are endangering its already very fragile hold on life. How can we let this happen?” Described by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh as one of the three greatest wildlife artists in the world, Spencer Hodge’s passion for nature and wildlife has proved to be an inexhaustible source of inspiration throughout his career. The many hundreds of hours spent studying wild animals and birds in their natural habitat are truly reflected in the precision and realism of his dramatic work.
The print is hand numbered and accompanied by a certificate signed by the Master Printer and bearing a matching number to the print.
